Urgent Request

We use hundreds of pounds of newspaper per month to line the kennels at the shelter. We were receiving newspaper weekly from a distrubutor that can no longer assist us. We urgently need a steady supply of newspaper - either bundled or shredded and ready for the kennels.
If you know of a resource where we can get large quantities of newspaper/matte paper at no charge such as a distributor, printer or recycling center, or are willing to bundle and deliver your clean, dry newspaper to the shelter please contact

We need newspaper every week so will need many volunteers to help!
This would be a great project for Girl Scout Troops, school children and other groups - ask your neighbors or local businesses to save their newspaper and collect a bundle each week. If you would prefer to shred the newspaper and deliver it to us that way please tear it into 1inch strips and store in garbage bags. This would save us a lot of time but is not necessary.
