🏆 National award

Gloria Marti wins the National Unsung Hero Award

After hurricanes and earthquakes hit the island, Gloria kept working non-stop for the animals left behind. Petco Love and Victoria Stilwell Positively named her one of five Unsung Heroes — and a national public vote made her the National Unsung Hero, bringing a $50,000 grant and more than 2,000 pounds of pet food to Puerto Rico. Gloria put the funds toward finishing the building that became our current shelter.
